Mark R Meehan

Mark Meehan brings 17 years of litigation experience to MFLG with a particular fondness toward domestic relations - particularly divorce and custody cases involving fathers' rights. As a divorced father himself, Attorney Meehan provides clients with real first-hand knowledge of how to get through the combat zone of a brutal custody battle in any of the Boston-area Probate and Family Courts - especially with the family court judges in Middlesex, Essex, Norfolk, and Bristol Counties.

With close to 40 trials under his belt over the past five years alone, there aren't many matters Mark Meehan hasn't mastered - from the basic paternity or uncontested divorce case to complicated divorce matters involving complex discovery matters or foreign jurisdiction issues.

Winning strategies in court, just like sports, involves the fair use of gamesmanship. It also requires ongoing thinking, planning, and implementing. Attorney Meehan puts a strong emphasis on preparing his clients for what they can anticipate over the timeline of their case. Since action in court is fast and furious, Mark reminds clients to use the winning strategies and techniques that have been successful for other clients. When used correctly, and at the right time, they are very effective and powerful. There isn't a day that goes by where Attorney Meehan isn't preaching to clients how they must learn to think like a judge and not as an impassioned litigant.

Mark Meehan is a Boston College Law Graduate and is involved in numerous legal organizations throughout the Commonwealth.
