Diane Cooper

Diane Cooper has over 11 years of experience fighting for the rights of parties going through a divorce. Attorney Cooper has represented individuals and families with divorce, custody, paternity, child support and related issues. She has handled removal cases and even parental kidnapping cases - in both family court and in federal court. Given how restraining orders have become common in the early stages of divorce, Diane has become adept at restraining order hearings in both the criminal and family court. Finally, Attorney Cooper is no stranger to the adoption and the CHINS (children in need of services) processes in juvenile court and in family court.

Attorney Cooper has extensive trial experience and does not back down from a challenge. This is especially true when asserting father's rights in a seemingly female-biased arena. Diane insists that, in the majority of cases, children deserve both parents. Often times, parents tend to let their hatred as a spouse cloud their judgment as a parent. Attorney Cooper is a member of the Essex County Bar Association, Massachusetts Bar Association, and Northshore Chamber of Commerce. She volunteers her time with the City of Peabody Planning Board and Stonehill College Alumni Council, Community Affairs Committee. Through the Community Affairs Committee, Attorney Cooper participates in public service based activities for individuals in Plymouth and Norfolk Counties.
